So the weekend has been fun and entertaining with the holiday pics of my dogs and the Holiday swing David and I went to. I truly felt pretty at the Holiday Swing and more confident than ever. Again, another kudos credit to Kourtney who did my hair, it couldn't have been any more perfect. The banquet was awesome, great music, great food, and even better company. There were some neat items in the silent auction, I put more images of the actual event on my photography blog. Everyone was so nice and looked fabulous.
We actually had so much fun at the banquet that we kind of impaired ourselves the next day from anything but making chili. So that's what we did, got all the ingredients to make a kick ass chili. It's amazingly really good. Then I made a hot cranberry apple cider that was pretty kick ass as well. If I get the clear glass mug I want for christmas, I'll make it again and post images of how pretty cherry red it is.
I did get upset about the Aesop Rock show getting canceled because of a "blizzard" scare here in Austin, TX. It didn't even snow.... but oh well, my tickets are good at the new date which is on January 23, 2010. I'll be there to Aesop-Rock-the-fuck-out-of-tha-house!
Now I would like to take a moment and make a public publishing of my greatest achievement yet, shutting David out in a game of shuffleboard. Final score was Me: 24, David: 0. I'll be signing autographs later.
